Public declaration of faith and celebrating with other believers is an important part of Baptism. Are there any examples in the Bible of someone Baptizing themselves? I don't think so. It's interesting to me that you emphasize the importance of immersion over the symbolic sprinkling of water, but you think it's fine to do this ritual alone. Jesus didn't baptize Himself. He was Baptized by John. In Acts, the eunuch didn't baptize himself, he was baptized by Philip. In our walk with Christ, we need other people. The Holy Spirit is in the hearts of believers. God shows up in people. He works in us and through us.
